Epic Digital Media

The Challenge

Epic Digital Media developed a business plan based on international revenues. Their products and services were developed to suit potential users from any country. Once Epic had developed the content in English they needed a translation partner that could assist them with global expansion.

Not only did Epic need translation services, but they needed to ensure the translations were tailored for the target age group. Additionally, they needed to ensure that the sites were fully tested and de-bugged prior to market launch.

The Results

    • Epic Digital Media are currently operating in nine European markets
    • Rather than focusing on generating revenues from Ireland and the UK, Epic Digital Media are now focusing on a market that has over 4 times this population.
    • Although only launched in Sweden in September 2008, Epic Digital Media have already exceeded targeted revenues.
    • As each language version has launched, processes efficiencies have increased and it is now only taking 3 weeks to launch in a new market.

The Feedback

Paul Coyle, Managing Director, Epic Digital Media
"I had worked with Cipherion Translations prior to selling my first company. Once we decided to launch Epic Digital Media, we knew we had to focus on a global market. Working with Cipherion Translations makes this really easy. We've had great success with the translations – they employed a really youthful translation team and the feedback we got from customers was fantastic."

The Languages

Launch 2008: Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, German, Italian, Spanish.
Also now active in UK and Ireland.

" As I said in your survey, the service I got was A1 and the quality of the translations were excellent. "
