  • 98.3 per cent customer satisfaction rating
  • 93 per cent would recommend Cipherion to a colleague
  • Translation quality is overriding decision-making criterion

Cipherion, a leading Irish translation and global communications company, today celebrated its fifth year in business by announcing a 98.3 per cent customer satisfaction in its second quarter quality review. 93 per cent of respondents indicated they would recommend the company to a colleague while translation quality was revealed as the single most important criterion when selecting a translation service provider. Founded in 2006, Cipherion has a wide range of clients across tourism, hospitality, life sciences, exporting, technology and multinational sectors.

A detailed survey asked customers to rate Cipherion on a number of quality drivers including value for money, overall communications, responsiveness, range of languages offered and customer service. The company believes the anonymous nature of the questionnaire yields a true and honest reflection of its exceptionally high service levels amongst clients.

Commenting on the results, Mark Rodgers, CEO at Cipherion re-affirmed the company’s commitment to quality. “Ongoing customer satisfaction measurement plays a key role in our quality processes and informs our business operations into the future. We continually look for innovative ways to further improve service levels and offer customers the range and scope of translation, interpreting and localisation services they require to compete in a dynamic, global environment. Our clients believe we have a deep understanding of their business, and we go the extra mile to ensure they meet their business objectives.”

Cipherion also asked customers to look to the future and project the type of translation services they would require. Multilingual website translation, interpreting services and SEO/Google Adword translation are forecast to be most in demand. This reflects the increasing importance of the online marketplace and the growing realisation that the Internet offers real growth opportunity for indigenous organisations. As organisations grow internationally, an ability to overcome language and communication barriers becomes a critical factor for success. More than just translation, it’s vital to focus on communicating tone and marketing messages.

In fact, Rodgers, who heads up the Irish Internet Association’s “International Strategy Working Group” believes that many Irish organisations, large and small, are missing out on lucrative, international business opportunities by failing to have their websites and critical marketing collateral translated. “Any market entry strategy should include translation as an integral part of its business plan,” he says. “Irish business owners have yet to fully realise the potential of acquiring international customers, however first they have to embrace website translation and multilingual marketing. With over 250 million online customers in France, German, Italy and Spain – a leap to a multilingual marketing strategy can yield great results for the right products or services.”
