Translation Memory Tools
We use the leading Translation Memory (TM) tools in the industry. We do not use machine translation.
Cipherion Translations' customized TM management process ensures a cost-effective result that allows for maximum client interaction.
A translation memory is essentially a central repository of translated content, tagged and labeled with identifying data and context information. We create a master translation memory (MTM) for each client or division within a client's organisation which we then update after every project. Translations can be retrieved and re-used as necessary in future projects, guaranteeing the maximum possible leverage for customers.
All our MTMs are continuously updated to include:
- Client feedback
- Glossary changes
- Changes in attribute tags
- New translations from new projects
Other Tool and Technology
Our QA tools include QA Distiller, ErrorSpy and Trados QA Checker. We automate many key processes, thus reducing the cost to our customers.
To ensure terminology consistency, we use Trados MultiTerm. Our terminology databases are managed internally and are used in conjunction with our translation memories.
